Science fiction has always been an ideal genre for film makers to build new and eccentric worlds where they explore philosophical and/or existential issues of our times or of the future. Be it doubting your own humanity (Blade Runner, Ghost In The Shell), the nature of time (Arrival) or struggles against conformity and violence (La Planète Sauvage), the thought-provoking tales in our Panorama program have proven themselves to not only broaden the horizons of our imagination, but also pose some very real questions about our existence.

These films – that all mark a pivotal point in cinematic world building history and science fiction cinema as a whole – have all been darlings to our cinema over the years and we are very happy to bring them (back) to the silver screen.
