This edition is about rites and rituals. Connecting to the erotic often requires us to switch into another headspace. From the ritual of cleaning our bodies to putting on special underwear or listening to sensual music, there is something calming and meditative about the passage to arousal. In this programme we look at practices of restrain and excess, of finding comfort in discomfort and of finding safety in repetition, worship, practice, and performance.
