This month’s Straight to Video feature is, of course, dedicated to none other than Chuck Norris, the legendary action hero who passed away in March at the age of 86.
Thanks to fast-paced B-action movies Chuck was more popular than ever in the mid-1980s. One of those movies was Invasion U.S.A..
In this crazy Cannon production, America is thrown into chaos by a series of murders, hostage-takings, and attacks. The mastermind behind this wave of violence is the Russian terrorist Mikhail Rostov. The only one who can prevent the United States from turning into a communist dictatorship is the one-man army Chuck Norris. “America wasn’t ready… but he was!”
