Philip, Lynn, Hussein en Shammy, jonge LHBT-Oegandezen, vechten om te overleven. In hun land blijven, waar religieuze onderdrukking en discriminatie heersen, brengt hun leven in gevaar. Dan is hun laatste hoop om alles achter te laten en een lange en pijnlijke ballingschap te ervaren.
International Queer& Migrant Film Festival en LAB111 presenteren Out of Uganda. Deze filmvertoning is onderdeel van het Queer & Pride Summer Programma van Queer & Pride Amsterdam.
Philip, Lynn, Hussein and Shammy, young LGBT Ugandans, are fighting for survival. Staying in their country, where religious opressions and discrimations prevail, endangers their lives. Then, their last hope is to leave it all behind and experience a long and painful exile.
