We’re proud to present a special selection celebrating the work of Satyajit Ray, one of India’s greatest filmmakers. We will be screening three of his iconic films, each offering a deep, humanist portrayal of life in India. Ray’s films are not only an exploration of Indian society but also a poignant reflection on universal themes of love, struggle, and the human spirit.

Satyajit Ray (1921–1992) was a pioneering Indian filmmaker, renowned for his profound storytelling and humanist approach to cinema. His iconic works, including Pather Panchali (1955), Aparajito (1956), and Apur Sansar (1959), revolutionized Indian cinema and earned him international acclaim, making him one of the greatest directors in the history of world cinema.
