The Royal Hotel

Hanna (Julia Garner) en Liv (Jessica Henwick) zijn beste vriendinnen die backpacken in Australië. Nadat hun geld op is, weet Liv, op zoek naar avontuur, Hanna ervan te overtuigen om een tijdelijke baan aan te nemen achter de bar van een pub genaamd ‘The Royal Hotel’ in een afgelegen mijnstadje in de Outback. Bareigenaar Billy en een groep lokale bewoners geven de meiden een wervelende introductie van de Down Under drinkcultuur, maar al gauw raken Hanna en Liv verwikkeld in een zenuwslopende situatie die snel uit de hand loopt. The Royal Hotel is geregisseerd door Kitty Green, die samen met Oscar Redding ook het script schreef. De cast bestaat uit o.a. Julia Garner, en Jessica Henwick, Toby Wallace en Hugo Weaving.

Hanna (Julia Garner) and Liv (Jessica Henwick) are best friends backpacking in Australia. After their money runs out, Liv, looking for adventure, manages to convince Hanna to take a temporary job behind the bar of a pub called ‘The Royal Hotel’ in a remote mining town in the Outback. Bar owner Billy and a group of locals give the girls a whirlwind introduction to Down Under drinking culture, but soon Hanna and Liv become embroiled in a nerve-wracking situation that quickly spirals out of control. The Royal Hotel is directed by Kitty Green, who also co-wrote the script with Oscar Redding. The cast includes Julia Garner, and Jessica Henwick, Toby Wallace and Hugo Weaving, among others.
