Daniel Day-Lewis and Lesley Manville star in this US drama written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. The film follows Reynolds Woodcock (Day-Lewis), a prominent dressmaker in 1950’s London who dresses a number of high-profile celebrities. Working with his sister Cyril (Manville), Reynolds finds his regimented life turned upside down when he meets and falls for a young woman named Alma (Vicky Krieps). As Reynolds struggles with the fact his work is being affected by his personal life, Alma goes to extreme lengths to keep a degree of control over their relationship. The cast also includes Brian Gleeson, Gina McKee and Camilla Rutherford.
