IQMF: Being Queer in the Carribean
Tickets for International Queer & Migrant Film Festival are sold through their website
.
Caribbean lived experience of queer and migrant persons is diverse, unique and full of lessons. It is often different from what is known and shared through conventional communication channels and presented through the lens of non-Caribbean natives. Faces and voices of the Caribbean should, therefore, be given a platform to share their stories and experiences and in doing so take us into their worlds. Following a Caribbean movie screening, different representatives of Caribbean countries will be available for an authentic conversation around their lived experiences.
Guests: Lucien Govaard (Surinam), Larry van Dever (Trinidad & Tobago)
All talks are €5 and free for people that already have a ticket to any screening of IQMF. Collect your free ticket at the box office in LAB 111 by presenting your film ticket.
