Corpse Bride

Corpse Bride is een Brits-Amerikaanse stop-motion geanimeerde muzikale donkere komedie uit 2005 geregisseerd door Mike Johnson en Tim Burton met een scenario van John August, Caroline Thompson en Pamela Pettler gebaseerd op personages gecreëerd door Burton en Carlos Grangel. De plot speelt zich af in een fictief dorpje in het Victoriaanse tijdperk in Europa. Johnny Depp leidt de cast als de stem van Victor, terwijl Helena Bonham Carter de stem van Emily, de titulaire bruid, voor haar rekening neemt. Corpse Bride is de derde stop-motion speelfilm geproduceerd door Burton en de eerste geregisseerd door hem. Dit is ook de eerste stop-motion film van Burton die gedistribueerd werd door Warner Bros. Pictures. De film werd opgedragen aan uitvoerend producent Joe Ranft, die omkwam bij een auto-ongeluk tijdens de productie.
