Interview With The Vampire (4K Restoration)

Ter ere van het 40-jarig bestaan van de film trakteert Park Circus ons op een 4K-restauratie van één van de meest iconische vampierfilms aller tijden. Interview, het eerste opus van Anne Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles, heeft een hele generatie cinefielen getekend. Neil Jordan (van wie we zijn twisted Roodkapje-verhaal Company of Wolves uit 1984 aanbevelen) orkestreert hier een epische film van onvertelde (maar overduidelijke) queer romantiek, waar de zon alleen op celluloid schijnt.

For its 40th anniversary, Park Circus is treating us to a 4K restoration of one of the most iconic vampire films of all time. First opus of Anne Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles, Interview with the Vampire has marked an entire generation of cinephiles. Neil Jordan (of whom we recommend his twisted Red Riding Hood film Company of Wolves, 1984) here orchestrates an epic film of untold (yet obvious) queer romance, where the sun only shines on celluloid.
