LTD111 PRINTS SERIES LAUNCH:
FLOOR VAN HET NEDEREND ✕ FULL METAL JACKET
On May 24th we launch our very own fine art print series with an original artwork by Amsterdam-based illustrator Floor Van Het Nederend and inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s seminal classic Full Metal Jacket. This wonderful silkscreen print will be limited to 111 prints and available at the launch event and later via our website.
In the past couple of years we’ve worked with many talented artists in our exhibition space. This has made us long for more. This Spring we’ll release our very own fine art print series. We’ll invite artists who we admire to create a new original piece inspired by a cinematic moment of their choice, released in a limited edition of 111 prints. Kicking off this series is the Amsterdam-based illustrator and painter Floor van het Nederend, who has selected Stanley Kubrick’s seminal classic Full Metal Jacket as the inspiration for a stunning (silkscreen) work – to be revealed and sold on May 24th.

About the artist:
Dutch illustrator Floor van het Nederend (Haarlem, 1987) has always been fascinated and inspired by the comics of cartoonists like Charles Burns, Robert Crumb and Moebius and movies by directors like Stanley Kubrick. His style is a mix of underground comics and punk flyers. Raw, dark and mostly made with black ink. Themes are intense but never too serious.
