In the past couple of years we’ve worked with many talented artists in our exhibition space. This has made us long for more. This Spring we’ll release our very own fine art print series. We’ll invite artists who we admire to create a new original piece inspired by a cinematic moment of their choice, released in a limited edition of 111 prints. Kicking off this series is the Amsterdam-based illustrator and painter Floor van het Nederend, who has selected Stanley Kubrick’s seminal classic Full Metal Jacket as the inspiration for a stunning (silkscreen) work.
About the art prints:
– individually numbered, hand signed silkscreens
– limited to 111 prints
– available via link above (€55)
About the artist:
Dutch illustrator Floor van het Nederend (Haarlem, 1987) has always been fascinated and inspired by the comics of cartoonists like Charles Burns, Robert Crumb and Moebius and movies by directors like Stanley Kubrick. His style is a mix of underground comics and punk flyers. Raw, dark and mostly made with black ink. Themes are intense but never too serious.
