LTD111 PRINTS SERIES:
FLOOR VAN HET NEDEREND ✕ WANDERWELLE
We continue our fine art print series with a another artwork by illustrator Floor van het Nederend. This time the print is a subtle reflection of the films which inspired Wanderwelle en Floor to create their debut graphic novel De Duizendpoot.
To celebrate the release of their graphic novel ‘De duizendpoot’, Wanderwelle and Floor van het Nederend curated a film programme in collaboration with LAB111. Starting the 4th of November, a selection of five films will be screened that inspired the book project: Mulholland Drive, Stalker, Antichrist, The Wicker Man, The Lighthouse.

About the artist:
Dutch illustrator Floor van het Nederend (Haarlem, 1987) has always been fascinated and inspired by the comics of cartoonists like Charles Burns, Robert Crumb and Moebius and movies by directors like Stanley Kubrick. His style is a mix of underground comics and punk flyers. Raw, dark and mostly made with black ink. Themes are intense but never too serious.
