To escape the hectic city life and her demanding job, thirty-something Natalia moves to a small village in the Spanish countryside. In a dilapidated house, with an awkward dog by her side, she hopes to build a new life. However, her aggressive landlord and distrustful villagers make the start difficult. Then she meets Andreas, an older neighbor and fellow outsider, who makes her an unexpected proposal. Their turbulent relationship quickly turns into an obsessive passion, forcing Natalia to see herself in a new light.
