With her work – which spans almost 60 years – she introduced the world to mind bending worlds and alternative futures.

Worlds of Ursula K. Le Guin is a feature documentary exploring the remarkable life and legacy of Le Guin by director Arwen Curry. It’s produced with the writer’s own participation over the course of a decade. Her fascinating story has never before been captured on film. In the 21st century reality of planetary collapse the legacy of Le Guin is an indispensable gateway to rethink our society and its obsessive technologies through other ways of being.
This evening is a pre-event for the FIBER Festival 2020: Instability that takes place in May 2020 in Amsterdam. This event is presented in collaboration with LAB111, iii, MU and Simulacrum Magazine and is supported by the Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst.
